Brief History
The Faculty of Education was established in 2010 with the aim of fostering skilled educators who are equipped to meet the challenges of modern teaching. Since its inception, the faculty has been dedicated to providing high-quality education and professional development for future teachers.
The Faculty offers a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree through four specialized departments:
Biology Major and Chemistry Minor - This program emphasizes a deep understanding of biological sciences and chemistry, preparing students to inspire and educate future generations in these critical fields.
Physics Major and Math Minor - Students in this department explore fundamental concepts of physics while enhancing their mathematical skills, crucial for teaching these interconnected subjects effectively.
Arabic and Islamic Studies - This department focuses on the rich cultural and religious heritage of the Arabic language and Islamic teachings, equipping students for careers in education and community engagement.
Islamic Studies and IT - By integrating Islamic principles with information technology, this program prepares students to navigate the contemporary landscape of education and technology.
Since its establishment, the Faculty of Education has successfully graduated ten batches of students, all of whom are empowered to make meaningful contributions to their communities and the field of education. With a commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement, the Faculty remains a vital institution for aspiring educators.

Mission
The mission of faculty of education at Jazeera University is to provide high quality education of international standards contributing to the advancement of knowledge that is socially and ethically relevant, and applying that knowledge to the scientific, technological and social-economic development of our nation and the wider world. Our mission is also to enhance the knowledge and expertise of graduates in their respective fields and disciplines through the creative and innovative process of learning and teaching, research, entrepreneurship and community service based on professional ethics.
