Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Jazeera University, where you can get the information you need to know about the career in health sciences or simply interested in learning more about our programs, research, and extra curriculum activities.
On behalf of the Dean of the faculty and staff, I invite you to look at the information presented here and learn about our special offerings at the undergraduate levels. Our professional curriculum provides the students with the knowledge and skills to gain professional practice with strong foundations in research and excellent clinical practice.
The Faculty of Health Science encompasses five departments with about 685 at present, all of these departments work together in an integrated learning, research and health service delivery platform in serving communities that are in need.
The faculty continues to educate the next generation of leaders in health, research critical health issues, and translate the solutions into community and clinical settings to improve health outcomes across society.
The faculty aims to graduate health professionals who are competent health stuffs, who are leaders in health, and who are in conformance with the international standards. To achieve these outcomes we have a particular focus on developing a learning environment that is inclusive and cross-disciplinary, and on attracting teachers who are leading researchers in their area of expertise.
We have a network of more than 269 alumni working across all corners of the country; include hospitals, non-profit organizations, government officials and researchers in health sciences.

The Faculty of Health Sciences at Jazeera University is a dynamic center of healthcare education, uniting five departments with over 685 students dedicated to advancing health knowledge, practice, and research. Guided by a mission to produce competent, globally-minded healthcare professionals, the faculty combines rigorous academics with practical clinical training and focuses on inclusive, cross-disciplinary learning. With a network of over 269 alumni serving in hospitals, government, and non-profits across Somalia, the faculty is committed to addressing critical health issues and uplifting communities through impactful research and healthcare solutions.
